New Business Sales / Account Manager Job Description

Company Overview

Vast Solutions designs, develops, and manufactures electronic/electro-mechanical products specific to surface transportation, consumer, and industrial markets. Our products generally are mission critical or high reliability applications, where failure is more than an inconvenience.

We are looking for a results driven representative (Sales Engineer or Sales/Account Management) to seek out and engage with customer prospects, negotiating and winning business for our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in forming strategic areas of focus for new business development
  • Execute strategic focus by seeking out potential customers and opportunities
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Act as liaison between customer and internal Vast team members
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Perform contract review of awarded business
  • Maintain customer account on commercial items throughout development and production process
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Monitor and analyze customer usage and feedback of our products and services
  • Maintain representation and support with customer throughout product life cycle

Qualification

  • Organized self-starter with strong sense of ambitions, self-motivation, and self-discipline
  • Background in sales of electronic assemblies
  • Preferred 3+ years’ experience in relative sales/account management role
  • Ability to work both independently and in team settings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Strong proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure in multi-faceted, fast paced environment
  • Ability to continuously improve through feedback from others

Salary and Benefits

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
